Goals

The Nettelhorst Library Media Center will:

  • Provide scheduling that best meets student and faculty needs.
  • Provide an organized, up to date collection, and technologies that support the curriculum.
  • Provide materials that reflect the interests of its patrons and encourage multiculturalism.
  • Provide activities that expose students to a variety of genres, authors, and illustrators.
  • Provide opportunities for collaboration with classroom teachers to integrate information literacy skills and technologies with the curriculum.
  • Provide activities that promote leisure reading.
  • Provide information literacy and technology training to students, faculty, and parents.
  • Provide a learning environment that develops effective and efficient users of ideas and information.

LMC Hours Supervised by LMC Staff

During the hours listed below, LMC Staff is available to supervise students. Due to safety concerns, students are not allowed in the Library Media Center before or after these hours of operation without special permission from Mrs. Kupec or parental supervision.

We need everyone's cooperation to continue open access to the library media center afterschool. Please respect that this is a shared space and assist in keeping it neat and orderly.  Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
